Child Safety

Safety Guide

At IMAJI Kids, every design decision starts with one question: "Is this safe for a child?" Here's how we protect your family.

Zero Advertising

No ads. Ever. Children on IMAJI Kids will never see a commercial, sponsored content, or any form of advertisement.

Parental Visibility

Every story read, game played, and activity completed is visible to you in the parent dashboard. You are always informed.

No External Links

Children cannot navigate to external websites from within the IMAJI Kids experience. The platform is a fully enclosed, safe environment.

Curated Content Only

All content — stories, games, songs, and printables — is hand-reviewed by our team before going live. No user-generated content is shared between families.

No Push to Children

We never send notifications, alerts, or messages directly to children. All communications go to the parent account only.

Parent-Controlled Profiles

Only a verified parent or guardian can create, edit, or delete a child profile. Children access only their assigned profile.

Our Content Standards

Every piece of content on IMAJI Kids goes through a careful review process before it is made available to families. We evaluate all content against the following standards:

  • Age-appropriate language: All stories and narrations are reviewed for vocabulary and themes suitable for young children.
  • Values alignment: Content must teach or model positive values — honesty, kindness, courage, empathy, resilience, and respect.
  • Cultural sensitivity: Stories celebrating diverse cultures are reviewed to ensure they are respectful, accurate, and affirming.
  • No scary or violent content: We do not publish content with frightening imagery, violence, or emotionally distressing themes.

How Parental Controls Work

As a parent on IMAJI Kids, you have full control:

  • Age filtering: Set an age range for each child profile, and IMAJI Kids will only surface age-appropriate content automatically.
  • Activity dashboard: Review what your child has read, played, and explored — including timestamps and completion rates.
  • Multiple profiles: Create separate profiles for each child, each with their own age settings and history.
  • Account deletion: Remove any child profile or your entire account at any time. All associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Screen Time Recommendations

We care about healthy technology habits. As a guide:

  • For children under 2: Avoid screen time outside of video calls with family.
  • For children 2–5: Limit to 1 hour per day of high-quality, parent-supervised screen time.
  • For children 6 and older: Establish consistent, family-agreed limits and balance screen use with physical activity and offline reading.

We encourage pairing IMAJI Kids sessions with conversations — ask your child what they learned and what they felt about the story.
